Coming Soon and
Lady Adalyn - the first book in a new saga, makes its debut on January 31, 2019. This is the beginning of a storyline that stretches across several years and many lives in the early 1800's. Yes, it's a Regency-set historical romance, but with a twist. Wolfbridge Manor is an unusual estate in that it is run by a woman. She is selected by virtue of her familial connections, no matter how slim, and by the fact she is in need. Lady Adalyn fits those requirements and finds herself settling in to a quiet country estate with her staff - four amazingly handsome men, ready to do her bidding. If you find the idea intriguing, you'll want to take a look at "Lady Adalyn"...and remember it's the first in this Saga, so the story is ongoing!
I'm starting to put travel plans together for 2019, and have recently added a trip to The Romance Retreat in September. This is the sister event to The Historical Romance Retreat, which I'm also excited to attend. Bottom line? I'll be in southern California for ten days or so this fall, and with luck connecting with my writing partner, as well as many friends, both old and new.
Of course, this will mean a ton of luggage, since more than a vew of these events need costumes! LOL.
It's AUDIO BOOK time for LETTING OFF STEAM!!! I've finally gotten around to putting another audio book out there, and this is the first of three in my Steampunk Seductions series. They're not long books, so probably not great for a cross-country drive, but for an afternoon at the beach or the pool, they should work.
Books, books, books and books. And a gin and tonic (Bombay Sapphire if you have it!). Of course there are other things in my world - a husband of over thirty years, a grown son, family and two adorable cats. But my professional life is focused on writing, and has been for more years than I care to recall. As an ex-Brit, my love of the written word crossed the Atlantic with me and stuck to my side, urging me to write, to publish and finally to become an Independent author in control of her career. It's a wonderful roller-coaster and I can't wait to see what's around the next curve!
I don't blog often, but now and again I have something to say!
